This project explores the commonalities between man-made objects and natural structure. The design concept is that it was nature who designed this table, not me as the designer. Design furniture that imitates the structure of natural lifes and integrates the structure, characteristics and functions of natural lifes into product design.
Explore the relationship between humans and nature, finding commonalities between man-made products and natural structures. Inspired by the moss growing on trees, moss covers the intersections of tree branches. Use fusion 360 generative design to simulate the structure of natural life.
The wire wrapped around the branches represents human control of nature and endless utilization, development and possession. At the same time, nature is also resisting, and
green moss grows again on the withered branches.
